3 Dec 2004 Chiang Mai - Mae Sai - Chiang Tung - Muang La (distance approx. 500 km.)
05.00	Group meets at a start point in Chiang Mai
06.00	Drive to the border of Mae Sai, Chiang Rai
09.00	Arrived to the Thai-Myanmar border, Mae Sai - Tha Khi Lek. After finishing the necessary immigration and customs formalities, continue driving to Chiang Tung.
13.00	Lunch at Chiang Tung. After lunch, drive through and visit Chiang Tung, Here we will explore the beautiful Nong Tung Lake, Wat Mahameymunee, Wat Chiang Yuen where a 67 meters standing Buddha is housed. Continue driving to Muang La
18.00	Arrived to Muang La Special Administrative Region, which adjacent to border of China. Tonight's dinner is at a local restaurant. Check in at the hotel and free leisure time at Muang La, (the Las Vegas of Myanmar). One of the biggest hotels and casinos is the Oriental Hotel, which includes a block of small shops, restaurants, and small casinos. Free at leisure.

4 Dec 2004 Muang La - Tha Lor - Jinghong (Sip Song Panna) (distance approx. 150 km.)
06.00	Breakfast and prepare for driving to China
07.00	Drive to Myanmar - China border at Tha Lor checking point. After finishing the necessary immigration and customs formalities, continue driving pass through Tai district with traditional style villages and nature wonders such as the Lan Chang River (upper Khong River). Arrived Ka Lan Pa (Muang Hum)
11.30	Lunch at a restaurant in Muang Hum. After lunch, visit Tai Lue Village (Tai Panna) a beautiful preserved village, visit a minority market and Wat Tai Yai. After this we will drive back to Jinghong (Sip Song Panna). Check in Sight Seeing Hotel or a similar hotel.
19.00	Dinner at a restaurant and free leisure time.

5 Dec 2004 Jinghong - Simao (distance approx. 158 km.)
07.00	Breakfast at a hotel restaurant.
08.30	Drive to visit a virgin rainforest, Tai Lue and see the Sip Song Panna minorities' shows, visit the holy spring water and visit a minority village "Ai Nhee" which is located atop of a mountain and is connect with a hanging bridge. See beautiful fluttered peacocks fly for their food. After this you will see an exotic circus show.
12.00	Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, depart for Simao in see several minority villages and their living styles and cultures.
18.00	Arrived Simao, city of tea and pine tree furniture. Tour around the city.
19.00	Dinner at a local restaurant. Check in at Garden Hotel or similar. Free at leisure.

6 Dec 2004 Simao - Kunming (distance approx. 422 km.)
07.00	Breakfast at a hotel restaurant.
08.00	After breakfast drive to Kunming
13.00	Drive to visit Fuxian Lake. After this you will have lunch with some leisure time to enjoy activities around the lake such as horseback riding and boating. Continue driving to Kunming.
18.00	Arrived Kunming, the capital of Yunnan which is also known as "City of Perpetual Spring". Dinner at a local restaurant. Check in at Kunming Hotel and free at leisure.

7 Dec 2004 Stone Forest - Expo 99 garden
07.00 a.m	Breakfast at a hotel restaurant. After breakfast drive to visit the Stone Forest, which is know for its karsts topography.
12.00 p.m.	Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Kunming, and visit the International Flower Exposition. Return back to the hotel. Free at leisure.

8 Dec 2004Kunming - Chiang Rung (distance approx. 630 km.)
05.30	Breakfast at a hotel restaurant.
06.00	Depart Kunming back to Chiang Rung cross the bridge which having the highest foundation pillar (Guinness book recorded)
12.00	Lunch on the way back.
19.00	Arrived Chiang Rung, check in at Sightseeing Hotel. Dinner at a restaurant, free at leisure.

9 Dec 2004 Chiang Rung - Tha Ki Lek (distance approx. 420 km.)
07.00	Breakfast at a hotel restaurant.
08.00	Depart Chiang Rung to Tha Lor check point, back to Myanmar
12.30	Lunch on the way back. After lunch continue driving to Tha Ki Lek, Myanmar - Thailand border.
18.00	Arrived Tha Ki Lek, check in at Regina Hotel or similar hotel in Chiang Rai. Dinner with farewell party.

10 Dec 2004 Tha Ki Lek - Mae Sai
08.00	Breakfast at a hotel restaurant
09.00	After breakfast, free time to explore on own. End of "Friendship Caravan along Khong River"
